  My website seems to be hacked! I’m seeing strange content or pop-ups appearing. What steps should I take to secure my WordPress site and remove the malware?

    https://www.google.com/search?secure+wordpress+website tells a lot about securing your site.

    The best way to remove malware is to go back to your latest unhacked backup.

    I have to ask, is this showing up only on your computer or other computers accessing the internet site in question? Without posting links, what unusual behavior is occurring? Have you checked your computer for malware? From the limited information provided, I am not convinced you have been “hacked” as you think but I won’t say it couldn’t have happened.

    I second the backup tip! Restoring a clean version is the fastest way to get your site back to normal. While you secure it, consider a security plugin for extra protection.
